The new Library catalogue - StarPlus

The new catalogue provides a single search point for all content regardless of format or location. It enables you to search collections held locally at our sites or remotely in electronic and digital forms. It can provide direct access to full text where such content is available to us on an open access or subscription basis.

Please note: myLibrary Account cannot be accessed on the mobile version of StarPlus.

For registered staff and students

Library Account

If accessing your Library Account via the Library tab in MUSE:

• Click on the Manage My Account and Renew Items link which directs to StarPlus
• Click on the University members link in the top right-hand of StarPlus to confirm login
• Click on myLibrary Account link to access full details

If accessing your Library Account in StarPlus (not already logged in to MUSE):

• Click on University members link in the top right-hand of StarPlus
• Log in to your MUSE account, when prompted
• Click on myLibrary Account link to access full details
  To get the most out of StarPlus, please log in using your University username and password. This will give you access to features such as your e-shelf, saved searches and alerts, as well as access to licensed content via the 'Articles and Databases' tab
  

• Quick sets and 'Find Databases' - search the Library's subscribed databases from the 'Articles and Databases' tab
• Primo Central - use Primo Central to find a large number of ebooks and journal articles, many with full-text access

For NHS Staff and External users

Library Account

• Click on NHS and other library users link in the top right-hand of StarPlus
• Log in with your Library number and PIN, when prompted
• Click on myLibrary Account link to access full details
