Who can borrow from the Library?

All members of the University and staff and students of the NHS may borrow from any of the University's Libraries. In order to borrow books, periodicals and non-book items you must possess a current Ucard. Your Ucard is also your Library borrower card. More information on borrowing entitlements is available.

Members of staff

All members of staff who have a valid Ucard may borrow from any of the University Library. New members of staff should obtain a Ucard from the reception desk of the University Computer Centre in Hounsfield Road.

Retired, visiting or honorary staff who have a valid green Associate Ucard may also borrow from the University Library and have the same entitlements as Academic staff.
