Key things you need to know about borrowing from the Library

• To borrow books you must have a valid U-Card or Library ticket. Defaced or damaged U-Cards may not be used. U-Cards are issued to new students at registration
• Any replacement cards must be requested from the Computer Centre or the Student Services Information Desk in the Students Union. Full details of how to obtain your U-Card are available for students and for staff
• You are responsible for the return of all items which have been issued to your U-Card
• Books are due for return by the due date as stamped in the book or printed on the self-issue slip, or maybe earlier if reserved by another person
• Fines are charged on all overdue books
• If you wish to borrow books on behalf of another person you must supply written authorisation from them
