Reference management

Reference management software such as EndNote, is a tool for collecting, storing and managing bibliographic references. You can then include them in academic writing and automatically reformat them for different referencing styles.

The Library recommends EndNote Web for new users. It is web-based and currently available without charge to all members of the University of Sheffield.

We also support EndNote Desktop which you can find on the CiCS Managed Desktop for those with more advanced requirements. If you want to use EndNote Desktop on your personal computer, you can purchase the latest version from CiCS.
