Downloading references from ProQuest to EndNote
- Carry out a search as normal
- Select the references you wish to download to EndNote by checking the box to the left of each reference
- Click 'Export' (at the top of the list of results)
- From the drop-down list in the Export dialogue box, you can choose to export references directly to EndNote or to download a formatted file (e.g. RIS) which you can save to use later
- If you choose to export references directly to EndNote, you may be asked which program to use to open the file (this depends on your browser and settings)
To download the references to EndNote Web, follow the above instructions, saving the references as an RIS formatted file. In EndNote Web:
- From the 'Collect' tab, select 'Import References'
- Use 'Browse' to locate the file
- Select 'RefMan RIS' as the import option
- Select a group in which to store the references
- Click 'Import'
