Downloading references from Literature online (LION) to EndNote
- Carry out a search as normal
- Select the references you wish to download to EndNote (you can also choose to 'Select' or 'Clear' all records on the page). Selecting the references automatically adds them to your 'Marked List'
- Click 'Marked List' (at the top of the page)
- On the next page, select the link with your saved references. The number of records you have saved will display next to each link - eg. 'Criticism (3 records)'
- Click 'Download citations'
- Select a download option (eg.'Export directly to [...] EndNote [...]')
- Depending on your browser and settings, you will be prompted to save the references as an RIS file or open with EndNote
To download references to EndNote Web, follow the instructions above, but save the references as an RIS file. In EndNote Web:
- From the 'Collect' tab, select 'Import References'
- Use 'Browse' to locate the file
- Select 'Literature online' as the import option
- Select a group in which to store the references
- Click 'Import'
