Downloading references from ACM Digital Library to EndNote

• Carry out a search as normal
• From the search results, click the reference you wish to download to EndNote
• Under 'Tools and Resources' / 'Export Formats', click 'EndNote'
  
• The export format will display in a pop-up. Click '[download]'
• Depending on your browser and settings, you will be prompted to save the reference as an EndNote Import File or open with EndNote

To download the reference to EndNote Web, follow the instructions above, but save the reference as an EndNote Import File. In EndNote Web:

• From the 'Collect' tab, select 'Import References'
• Use 'Browse' to locate the file
• Select either 'ACM Digital Library' or 'EndNote Import' as the filter type (both filters work)
• Select a group in which to store the reference
• Click 'Import'
