Victorian popular culture
Victorian Popular Culture provides access to an archive of digitised materials for the study of popular entertainment in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The database is divided into three sections - University of Sheffield customers have access to the full text content within the 'Circuses, sideshows & freaks' and 'Music hall, theatre & popular entertainment' sections only. The archive includes a significant amount of digitised material from the National Fairground Archive.
