Theatre Archive Project

This is a five-year project (2003-2008) to reinvestigate British theatre history during the period 1945-1968, from the perspectives of both the theatregoer and the practitioner. The Project Team includes staff from the British Library and the University of Sheffield, and the Project is also sponsored by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC). Searchable databases to theatre archives are under construction, and it is also possible to view transcripts of interviews with people connected with various aspects of the theatre.

Access is available directly from this page by connecting to the Theatre Archive Project web site - you'll be prompted to login to MUSE as necessary.
