Oxford dictionary of national biography

The Oxford dictionary of national biography holds the biographies of people who shaped the history of the British Isles and beyond, from the earliest to more recent times. The online edition is updated three times a year, providing new biographies, themes for reference, illustrations, corrections and additions to articles already published.

Access is available directly from this page by connecting to the Oxford dictionary of national biography web site - you'll be prompted to login to MUSE as necessary.
