National research register (NRR) archive
The National research register was a public database of research projects funded by, or of interest to, the NHS. The archived database contains a comprehensive record of publicly-supported health research projects from early 2000 up to and including September 2007.
The introduction of the United Kingdom Clinical Research Network (UKCRN) has shifted the responsibility for registering eligible research from NHS organisations to the researcher. The National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) coordinates this process and makes data on current research projects publicly available via the UK clinical research network (UKCRN) study portfolio.
