MIMAS

MIMAS , Manchester InforMation and Associated Services, is a JISC-supported national datacentre run by Manchester Computing, at the University of Manchester. It provides a range of services to the academic community including access to bibliographic databases. The University of Sheffield Library provides access to the following:

• CasWeb - area statistics from the 1991 & 2001 Census
• COPAC - unified access to the catalogues of U.K. university research libraries
• JSTOR Arts and Sciences, Music and Biological Sciences - electronic archive of core research journals
• ZETOC - multidisciplinary current awareness service

Access is available directly from this page by connecting to the MIMAS web site - you'll be prompted to login to MUSE as necessary. To access the Library's eResources collection whether on or off campus, simply log into MUSE & connect via the Library eResources links, located on the Library tab. Alternatively, access via the eResources A to Z links on the Library Web pages & login to MUSE when prompted.
