Landmap

The Landmap service provides UK academia with a range of spatial data for research, learning and teaching, which is enhanced and supported by a range of learning materials. Spatial data includes the Optical, Radar & Elevation collections, and datasets can be located and previewed via Interactive mapping using a visual interface.

Registration

Staff and students of the University of Sheffield can download data - this requires further registration:

• Click the Connect to Landmap link in the Quick links box
• Click on the Register button, then select the individual registration process link on the next page. Follow the on screen instructions & complete the online registration form
• You will receive an email after submitting the online registration form. Click the confirmation link in the email to complete your registration

Access

Access is available directly from this page by connecting to the Landmap web site - you'll be prompted to login to MUSE as necessary. Members of the University wishing to download data should follow the registration process described above. To access the Library's eResources collection whether on or off campus, simply log into MUSE & connect via the Library eResources links, located on the Library tab. Alternatively, access via the eResources A to Z links on the Library Web pages & login to MUSE when prompted.
