Iter: gateway to the Middle Ages and Renaissance
Iter: gateway to the Middle Ages and Renaissance is an online bibliography of more than 690,000 records for articles, essays, books and reviews. It is updated daily with thousands of new records added annually. The gateway provides access to the following databases:
- Iter bibliography: literature pertaining to the Middle Ages and Renaissance (400-1700). Citations for books, journal material and citations for essays in books
- International directory of scholars: directory contact information and detailed information on the research and teaching careers of scholars around the world. (No longer being updated as of May 2010.)
- Iter italicum: list of previously uncatalogued or incompletely catalogued Renaissance humanistic manuscripts found in libraries and collections all over the world
- Bibliography of English women writers, 1500-1640: citations for more than 700 women writers and located texts
In addition, Iter: Gateway to the Middle Ages and Renaissance also offers access to a number of full text electronic journals:
