House of Commons Parliamentary Papers

House of Commons Parliamentary Papers (HCPP) online is a database containing searchable full text for each paper, along with a detailed subject index. House of Commons Parliamentary Papers are among the richest and most detailed primary historical sources and are fundamental to an understanding of current legislation, policy making and the political environment.

University customers can access the following collections via HCPP online:

• 18th century (1688-1834)
• 19th century (1801-1900)
• 20th century (1901-2003/2004 session)
• Hansard (1803-2005)

Access is available directly from this page by connecting to the HCPP web site - you'll be prompted to login to MUSE as necessary. To access the Library's eResources collection whether on or off campus, simply log into MUSE & connect via the Library eResources links, located on the Library tab.
