FAME

FAME (Financial Analysis Made Easy) provides financial information on major public and private U.K. and Irish companies. The information given includes company profiles including subsidiaries and directors, accounting and financial information, ratios and trends, shareholder details and latest company news. Up to 10 years of financial history is provided for each company. All financial items are searchable and integrated analysis features are also available. FAME incorporates company tree diagrams and advanced graphical and analysis software to allow you to do in-depth analysis in seconds.

The complete database covers 2.8 million companies, but the current library subscription is limited to companies with a turnover or shareholder funds greater than £1.5 million, or with profits greater than £150,000.

You can run either a 'quick' search or an 'advanced' search from the home page. The quick search (at the top left of the page) enables you to search for information on a specific company or companies which match a limited range of criteria. The advanced search (in the middle of the page) gives you access to more options, enabling you to search by any combination of a wider range of criteria.

Please note that this is the only BvD database to which the library subscribes so the option to access other BvD Databases via the Switch Databases link is not applicable.

The news service is not part of our subscription.
