Connected histories

Connected histories provides integrated searching of a range of digital resources related to early modern and nineteenth century Britain (1500-1900). It is possible to search by keyword, name, place and date.

You can register for a free account to have access to your own 'workspace' where you can save searches. See the FAQ for further information.

Some of the resources to which Connected histories links require a subscription. Please check the A-Z databases table for details of the Library's subscribed and supported resources. You will need to log in to subscribed resources separately to access the content discovered in Connected histories.

Access

Access is available directly from this page by connecting to the Connected histories web site - you'll be prompted to login to MUSE as necessary. To access the Library's eResources collection whether on or off campus, simply log into MUSE & connect via the Library eResources links, located on the Library tab. Alternatively, access via the eResources A to Z links on the Library Web pages & login to MUSE when prompted.
