Carlyle Letters Online: A Victorian Cultural Reference, is the electronic edition of The Collected Letters of Thomas and Jane Welsh Carlyle. It is a fully digitized version of one of the most comprehensive literary archives of the nineteenth century and features thousands of letters written by Scottish author and historian, Thomas Carlyle, and his wife, Jane Welsh Carlyle, to over six hundred recipients throughout the world. Carlyle Letters Online is currently freely available to institutions and individuals.

Access is available directly from this page by connecting to the Carlyle Letters Online web site - you'll be prompted to login to MUSE as necessary.
