Social care online

Social care online (which replaced CareData and the electronic Library of Social Care) is available from the Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE). Social care online is an extensive database of social care information, which is updated daily and provides access to increasing numbers of full text journal articles, research briefings, reports and government documents. SCIE works with the following organisations to enable free and open access to their sites and databases via Social care online:

• AgeInfo (via Centre for Policy on Ageing)
• Research in Practice (RIP)

Access

Access is available directly from this page by connecting to the Social care online web site - you'll be prompted to login to MUSE as necessary. To access the Library's eResources collection whether on or off campus, simply log into MUSE & connect via the Library eResources links, located on the Library tab. Alternatively, access via the eResources A to Z links on the Library Web pages & login to MUSE when prompted.
