Academic Profile
Prior to joining the LPC, Rachel worked as a solicitor in the corporate department of a well-regarded commercial firm in Sheffield. She has experience in a wide range of commercial and company matters, including share and asset sales and management buyouts, business structures and group reorganisations, commercial agreements, trading terms and conditions and intellectual property matters. Rachel studied law at Sheffield and spent a year working in business before returning to Sheffield to complete her LPC. Rachel teaches Business Law and Practice and Commercial Law on the LPC and Contract Law at undergraduate level. She has also taught Insurance Law. Rachel has a Post Graduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
