Academic Profile
Emma teaches Business Law & Practice and Acquisitions & Mergers on the LPC. She also teaches Tort Law at undergraduate level. Prior to becoming a lecturer in 2002 Emma worked as a corporate solicitor in well-regarded commercial firms in both Leeds and Sheffield. She has experience in a wide range of company and commercial matters and specialised in business acquisitions and disposals. Emma studied law at Newcastle University before completing her LPC in Sheffield. Emma has a Post Graduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
