Knowledge Exchange

Knowledge Exchange is an important part of the research undertaken in the School of Law.

Knowledge Exchange is the exchanging of knowledge and skills from the University to business and the wider community, both locally and nationally and vice versa.

The School of Law is engaged in wide-ranging knowledge exchange activities, complementing the research and teaching as a third core activity of the University. The knowledge exchange activities that we undertake contribute immensley to the work of many institutions, organisations and individuals. They are mutually beneficial expanding the research base in Law and Criminology and attracting funding for further research and developmen

Dr Natasha Semmens and South Yorkshire Police

Dr Natasha Semmens has worked with South Yorkshire Police on a number of Knowledge Exchange related research projects.

Dr Richard Kirkham and the Ombudsman

Dr Richard Kirkham's work with the ombudsman started with a Parliamentary Paper he wrote on the first ombudsman, the Parliamentary Ombudsman. Since then his work has grown to include all types of Ombudsman and he has presented his work around the world.
