Sheffield Health Law and Policy Research Group

Expertise

The Sheffield Health Law and Policy Research Group brings together experts on the influence of European and international legal organisations on health policy, domestic health law and policy, the international regulation of healthcare, and legal theory as applied in health contexts. The group has a strong inter-disciplinary focus and many of the members are involved in research projects with colleagues in science and arts and humanities. Alongside this, the group is committed to incorporating a practitioner focus in the development of its research. Relationships with health care practitioners, Royal Colleges, and other stakeholders are helping the group to achieve this end. Our diverse array of interests puts the group in an ideal position to consider our themes. The Law School is well placed to address its research agendas from legal, socio-legal and multidisciplinary perspectives.
