Don't just take our word for it. Below are a few quotes from satisfied students, both past and present.

Resources

I found the online resources really useful. There was remote access to a lot of resources including online lectures and screencasts, online tests, things like that. It made it easy for me to be able to do all the work in my own time whether it was at home or sometimes at work or in the library.
- Anna Chenoweth

Being a mature student

Being a mature student I felt to be an advantage. Not long after I’d started the LPC, I realised that it didn’t matter about your age or where you came from, and we were all here for the same reason.
- Pamela Toplis

Flexibility

Here at Sheffield you have the option of choosing whether or not to study in the morning or the afternoon. I chose to study in the afternoon because I was working part-time at a local college and that allowed me to work in some mornings and complete my studies in the afternoon and just manage my time better.
- Steph Cheung

Open Days

It's a good idea to go to open days to see not only the staff but to get the insider’s view from current students. They were well structured and gave you an indication of what life would be like on the LPC.
- Patrick Allen

Careers

Not only does Sheffield have a good reputation for getting students through the LPC, they also have an excellent reputation for careers advice and helping students acquire a training contract, and that’s the main reason I actually why I chose to do it at Sheffield.
- Adam Tankard

University Life

The fact that it’s part of the university is a real advantage, it means you have access to all the university facilities and not just the ones provided for the LPC.
- Sarah Hendley

9 to 5

When you are faced with a workshop where friends are relying on you, you find that you motivate yourself a lot better, and as long as you treat it like a 9 to 5 job, which is what you’ll go into anyway, you should have no trouble.
- John Gripton

Small and friendly

Sheffield stood out over other providers because the staff-student ratio was quite low so I knew that I’d get one-on-one help if I needed it. Everybody knows who you are because it’s a small friendly course.
