Phil Gill, Landscape Architect - Green Space Manager, Rotherham City Council
Phil’s background includes a degree in Natural Environmental Science and MA inLandscape (1993), both at Sheffield University. He then spent five years working for Weddle Landscape Design during which time he became a (Chartered) Member of the Landscape Institute. He then moved to Rotherham MBC where he led a team of landscape architects working on a wide range of public sector projects. In 2002 he became Green Spaces Manager at Rotherham, with responsibility for parks, countryside, allotments, children's play, ecology and, more recently, sports development and trees and woodlands. Phil has also led a number of major projects including the restoration of Clifton Park and Rotherham's Green Space Strategy.
