Wacom Intous Graphics Tablets
4 Wacom Intous graphics tablets (1medium, 3 large) available to book out on a daily basis. Click here for more information about these tablets.
Graphic Design Library
A selection of graphic design books on are available from Paul Buck's office next to the floor 11 computer lab. These must not be removed from the studio and must be returned before 4pm the same day. Topics include displaying information and infographics, typography, grid systems, graphic design inspiration and creative thinking.
Wireless Model Camera
A wireless snake inspection camera that is able to take close up images and walkthrough videos of your models.
2 X Panasonic HC-X900M High Definition Cameras
Available to book out on a daily basis.
Mino Flip Digital Video Cameras
2 Mino Flip digital cameras available. They take high quality video and are able to store up to 60 minutes of footage.
FIELD EQUIPMENT
4 in 1 Environment Meter
The Environment meter can measure sound, light, temperature and humidity. We have 3 of these.
Anemometer
5 devices for measuring wind speed and temperature.
Dumpy Level Kit
Dumpy Level, tripod and staff for measuring spot heights and surveying the levels of sites. There are full instructions on how to use the Dumpy Level.
Measurement
four 30 meter tapes and 3 Infrared Measurement Devices (IMD). The IMD's can be used to measure areas and volumes as well as straight distances.
Quadrats
4 Quadrats which help to define areas when surveying plants or some wildlife.
Books
2 copies of 'Wild Flowers of Yorkshire' as field guides.
Binoculars
5 pairs of binoculars for observing sites that are hard to physically access or that you do not want to disturb.
