An Introduction to Prospective Postgraduates

The National Student Survey results for 2010 place Sheffield top for graduate employment for all UK landscape design courses with a score of 90%. This is an impressive figure at a time of recession and gives a strong indication of how well respected the Landscape Department and its students are amongst employers. Sheffield Landscape Graduates also scored the department at an impressive 88% for overall student satisfaction and over 90% for learning resources. The department and University has continued to make a sustained effort at providing excellent teaching facilities and continued investment in learning resources. In the summer of 2011 the department will return to the Arts Tower which has undergone a £25 million refurbishment and will provide state of the art studios, equipped with wireless and digital projection facilities, spray booths, and portfolio storage and locker space. Students will also have access to their own kitchen and common room. For images of these new spaces go to http://www.shef.ac.uk/landscape/artstower.html
