The Sheffield Graduate Award

From September 2011 the Kroto Research Institute will be providing the opportunity for students to take part in an activity which will form part of the Sheffield Graduate Award.

This will involve students developing their communication skills to enable them to make a video recording which can then be used:

• as part of their CV
• on their departmental website to aid recruitment
• on the Global Educational Outreach website to inspire young learners at www.geokri.org

As part of their development they will:

• take part in an on-line presentation skills workshop
• receive one to one tuition to help them develop their ideas by a qualified Teacher Educator
• Make a suitable recording using one of the various formats available including the option of Echo360

The next workshop will be announced shortly.
