I joined the department of Journalism Studies in November 2011 as a Learning and Media Technician, after working within IT support and web development for a number of years within the private sector.

My main responsibilities within the department are to offer technical support and advice to both students and other members of staff, and to assist with the maintaining and provisioning of the departments technical equipment.

During my spare time I produce music videos for local bands and artists and play bass guitar for a Sheffield based band.

I am always keen to try out the latest cameras and editing software and like to be on top of the industries latest gadgets and production methods.
