Doctoral Degree: Facilities

If you choose to study at Sheffield, you will be provided with all the necessary facilities to help you to successfully complete your degree.

You will be offered the necessary resources such as study areas with a computer connected to the campus network and a telephone.

You will be given your own computer account that enables use of email, internet, plus all other normal software packages including word-processing, spreadsheets, specialist statistical packages and on-line journals. In addition, you can access email and the internet from home via a remote access scheme.

The department also provide research students with their own room which houses desks and numerous modern computers.
