Norbaiduri Ruslan

Norbaiduri Ruslan joined the Department of Journalism Studies in June 2002. She received her first degree from The International Islamic University, Malaysia, with B.A. (Hons) in Communication, with specialisation in Public Relations.

She was awarded with M.A. in Communication (Telecommunication Management) from Western Michigan University. She is a lecturer at the Department of Communication, International Islamic University, Malaysia, currently on study leave.

Her research interests include new media technologies and education, email and religious applications, and television studies.

Currently, for her PhD research, she is investigating the portrayal of marital relationships and parenting behaviours on family –centred television programmes and the cultivation of desired family life among Malaysian´s younger generations.
