Lily Canter Lily started her PhD in September 2009 in online journalism, looking at how the internet has changed the relationship between journalists and their audiences, with a spotlight on UK regional newspapers.
Scott A. Eldridge II Scott's research focuses on understanding the reaction of news outlets to the rise of WikiLeaks by examining how news media communicate and enforce professional boundaries and traditional roles and identities in their news content.
Albert Kobby Mensah Albert's research 'Branding the Political Products: Forms and Strategies in the 21st Century Democratic Dispensation' looks at how branding has been operationalised in a competitive political market place.
Alaaddin F. Paksoy Alaaddin's research is about Representation of Turkey´s EU bid in UK newspapers and the BBC News website. He is looking at what happened in the first decade of the official candidacy of Turkish EU membership (1999-2009) and how this period was represented by the British media.
