Entry Requirements
Candidates seeking admission to the four MAs must possess (or expect to obtain) either a good degree or an alternative qualification approved by the University as degree equivalent. The Department is happy to consider applications from mature students.
It is essential that all students are proficient in written and spoken English to enable them to follow adequately their chosen course. Overseas students must be able to provide evidence that they have an acceptable English language qualification.
Applicants whose first language is not English should provide evidence of their proficiency by submitting an original test certificate from one of the following (photocopied language certificates are NOT acceptable):
- IELTS 7.5 with minimum of 7.0 in each element but for Broadcast it is a minimum of 7.5 in each element
- TOEFL paper test 625
- TOEFL computer 263
- TOEFL iBT 113
- USEPT 75% with minimum of 70% in each element
