Postgraduate students working on computersEntry requirements for masters degrees

To take one of our MA courses you must have either a good degree or an alternative qualification approved by the University as degree equivalent. We're happy to consider applications from mature students.

You must be proficient in written and spoken English, so you can access the course fully. If you're applying from outside the UK, we'll ask you to provide evidence that you have an acceptable English language qualification.

If English is not your first language, you must submit an original certificate (photocopied language certificates are not acceptable) from a recognised English language test. These are our requirements for 2013 entry:

MA Broadcast Journalism and MA Journalism Studies (Broadcast)
