Journalism student wins prize

Sheffield Journalism student Frances Booth has won the prize for the best public affairs paper in the National Council for the Training of Journalists preliminary exams.

The LGCommunications prize, which will be presented at their annual conference dinner in April, is a cheque for £250.

Fran completed her Postgraduate Diploma in Print Journalism, with distinction, last summer, and is now working at The Daily Telegraph.
