Great support and facilities
The Information School at Sheffield is the best in the business. But we're also a friendly place in which to study, where you'll find help any time you need it. You'll have a personal tutor to support you right through your course, and our IT support team is there to assist and advise you about our computer facilities, including our superb new facility, the iLab, purpose-built for cutting-edge informatics research.

Our students have 24 hour access to the Information Commons, a fantastic workspace for students, providing a variety of different study environments together with a large selection of books, e-resources and computing technologies.
You'll also be able to take part in our fascinating programme of research seminars and have the chance to run student-led activities within the School, such as our student society.
