Main Duties

I am responsible for providing administrative support to research students and applicants for our MPhil/PhD programmes, from admission to completion, and am secretary to both Research Committee and Research Staff/Student Committee. I coordinate many operational day-to-day financial transactions including settling invoices, processing School travel bookings and expenses claims, and administrating corporate purchasing card accounts.

I provide e-recruitment support to staff in the School, and am responsible for managing webpages for prospective research students. I ensure that the Research Student section of the staff handbook is kept up-to-date, and provide administrative support to staff in matters relating to research students. I am also responsible for developing marketing materials in relation to our research degrees, and provide support to the School’s Alumni Officer and Careers Officer.
