Recruitment Agency Visits
The following specialist library and information sector recruitment agencies will be visiting the Department of Information Studies in the week commencing 25th Feb. 2008 so that students interested in registering with these agencies can sign up for an interview.
A number of recent graduates of the Department have been placed in information-related positions (permanent and temporary) by these agencies. Please look at the agencies' websites to get a feel for the types of position that they have on their books, so that you can match your needs with what they have to offer. You should normally be prepared to bring an up-to-date CV with passport size photograph and proof of your identity (valid passport or birth certificate) with you to each interview. Recruitment agencies are able to assist in finding work for Home/EU students and any Overseas students who are in possession of a valid work permit to work in the UK after completion of their degree and therefore unless you are in this position you are advised not to register for an interview slot.
