Sheffield jobs fair showcases graduate opportunities

Big name employers will be on the lookout for new recruits at the University of Sheffield next week at the annual spring graduate recruitment fair. The `Spring into Jobs Fair´ will take place between 10.30am and 4.00pm on Wednesday 29 April 2009, at the University of Sheffield´s Octagon Centre.

The fair, which is jointly hosted by the careers services at the University of Sheffield and Sheffield Hallam University, is an opportunity to meet with a range of employers recruiting for regional, national and international positions in the areas of science, engineering, IT, business and management, marketing, HR, accounting and finance, logistics, retail and many more.

Students and graduates from all institutions are welcome to drop in at any time on the day to speak to exhibitors, including big names like Abercrombie & Fitch, Cameron, Next PLC, HM Treasury, Ernst & Young, Santander, Thales, Lonza Biologics, Aldi Stores, Mustang Engineering Ltd, Royal Mail and Virgin Active.

Michelle Dexter, Fairs Manager, said: "Graduates and students will get the opportunity to find out about companies they may want to work for, current vacancies available and how to apply for positions. The Spring into Jobs Fair also allows those attending to ask questions in an informal environment and find out information relevant to their individual needs."
