Top whack for Steeler Dagenais

Scientists from the University of Sheffield’s Polymer Centre have been testing the strength of ice hockey sticks using Sheffield Steeler’s star, Randy Dagenais, as their guinea pig.
They took a video at iceSheffield of Steelers' Canadian defenceman Randy Dagenais in full slap shot mode.
The research is being carried out by the University's Polymer Centre - where the video is deemed "highly interesting from a technical point of view." Students are collecting details on "stick and puck speeds, contact times and stick bending."
Dagenais is a student himself at the University. He and team-mate Steve Munn are studying the MBA course here.
