I am done with exams! Done! Actually I finished a week ago, but oh how quickly time has flown even though I have been doing absolutely nothing.
On the 25th of May 11am I walked out of Goodwin Sports Hall having done my final Extended Matching Questions paper. I was glad it was finally over and done with but at the same time worried as the paper was quite difficult. It’s hard not to go “oh my god” when you open the first page and think “did we ever learn this?” However, I think, I hope, that all in all the exams went okay. When I talked to other people they too seemed to find the same questions as I did difficult. In a couple of days time though I will get my results back. Fingers crossed!
I think Medicine is one of the only or one of the few courses which releases exam results so quickly. This is because our re-sits are in the beginning of July and that is sooner than the rest of the University gets their results back! I’m glad we find out almost straight away. Waiting for results is not fun and then you can’t remember the questions that well either.
So far in my week off I have been making up for all those times I haven’t been able to go out to union nights or simply relax and do silly things with friends. It’s nice to be able to finally just not have to think. Summer is always my favourite time of year because there are long holidays which means I’m allowed to switch off for 4 whole months.
There is only one week left before we all break up for summer holidays and I plan to make it as memorable as I can.
