International Student Officer
There is a strong tradition at Sheffield of representing international student views and this is demonstrated by the post of the Students' Union International Student Officer.
The International Student Officer is a current international student, elected by international students to represent their interests.
He or she will work with the other elected student representatives to run the Students' Union on behalf of the student community, ensure that student interests are represented effectively and that there is something on offer for everyone in the Students' Union.
The Officer is also Chair of the International Student Committee, a group of students who organise annual highlights such as Intro Fiesta, the World Food Fair and World Week, including the International Cultural Evening. These events are major fixtures in the international student calendar at Sheffield.
