Sport Sheffield
Sport Sheffield is the University department that manages all aspects of sport, health and fitness at the University of Sheffield.
Goodwin Sports Centre is our flagship facility incorporating three full size floodlit synthetic turf pitches, three small sided floodlit synthetic turf pitches, a multi-purpose sports hall, swimming pool, bouldering wall, four squash courts, a floodlit tennis court, cricket nets and a large state of the art fitness centre, S10health.

Norton Playing Fields are the grass playing fields located approximately four miles away from Goodwin Sports Centre.

Intra Mural is the name for the sporting leagues operated on behalf of all the students and staff at the University of Sheffield. This is possibly the largest programme of it type in the Higher Education sector.

Student Sport Strategy
Through Sport Sheffield we will provide and promote opportunities to engage in sport and fitness activities at all levels in order to enhance the health and well-being of students at the University.
Sports Bursary
This scheme is open to all undergraduates and postgraduate students who meet the criteria.
The Sports Bursary Scheme supports students who compete at an international level (GB or England/Scotland/Wales/Ireland) in a sport recognised by Sport England. Sports bursary students have free use of our sports facilities, including S10health fitness centre. You may be eligible for a bursary, if you compete at an international level, in a sport recognised by Sport England.
