Technologies

The touch screen display technology enables the teaching PC or any student workstation PC to be displayed on wall-mounted plasma/data projection screens in Collaboratory 1, or Classrooms 3 & 4.

The Sympodium allows you to write over anything you display in digital ink, highlight concepts, and take snapshots for example. Your audience will instantly see your writing displayed onto the screen as you deliver prepared or impromptu material.

The two Collaboratories are also equipped with huddleboards and CopyCams which allow groups to capture and save notes and/or ideas to the web.

Collaboratory 2 is equipped with an Access Grid node (video conferencing system) which allows discussions with students and experts from other institutions. Please see the videoconferencing web pages to find out more.

For more information regarding each teaching facility, please see the User Guides on the right hand side bar.
