Research Opportunities in the John Foxe Project


woodcut monks The Foxe Project is keen to promote post-graduate research at Masters and Doctoral levels in subjects related to John Foxe and the Book of Martyrs
The Project is currently seeking research students to work on subjects such as
  • the role of correspondence networks in early English Protestantism.
  • the impact of Foxe's martyrology on the spiritual attitudes in later Elizabethan and early Stuart Protestantism.
  • The role of Foxe's martyrology in nineteenth century English religious debates and controversies.
