Supertram Trams link the railway station and the city centre directly to the University. The tram stop is located at the back of the railway station. Trams from the station to the University run on the Blue route (destination "Malin Bridge"). BusesBuses to the University are frequent and inexpensive. From the railway station and coach station you can take the number 60 directly to the University. Other buses from the city centre include the 51 and 52. Bus Timetables and Ticket Information

ParkingParking on campus is limited, so if you plan to drive to the University please arrange parking with your hosts in advance. This helps us ensure you find a convenient location. We recommend that, unless you know the city well, when travelling from the north, east and south you should approach Sheffield by the M1 (and M18 if necessary). From the west, use the A57 Snake Pass via Glossop. The recommended main routes to and from the University are indicated on the Central Sheffield map.

You may find that Park and Ride is the most convenient way to get to the University if you are arriving in Sheffield by car. The University is well served by trams connected to park and ride facilities at Middlewood and Nunnery Square (off the A630/A57/A61 Parkway). |
