Outcomes of Professorial Banding

The Professorial Pay Scheme was introduced on 1 January 2010. Professors were assigned to one of three bands; any professors whose salary fell below the minimum of their new band were lifted to the minimum with effect from 1 January.

At 1 January 2010, the distribution of staff across the three bands is as below.

Note: Clinical staff are outside of the scope of the Professorial Pay Scheme and so are not included in the table below.
