Visiting Lecturer

Visiting Lecturers will contribute to departmental teaching or research and will have significant reputation in the field of research/expertise/teaching and will be equivalent in standing to a lecturer.

Procedure

• Recommendations from the Head of Department, including a full CV, to Human Resources, via the Faculty Director of Research & Innovation or the Faculty Director of Learning & Teaching (as appropriate). The recommendation should indicate the period of tenure (up to 3 years).
  
  
• The title of Visiting Lecturer will be considered and endorsed by the Director of Research & innovation or the Director of Learning & Teaching (as appropriate) of the Faculty by which the title is requested.
  
  
• The Department of Human Resources will issue a letter of confirmation.
