LGBT Network Seminars

Our May 17th LGBT Staff Network launch date has been planned to coincide with International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia (IDAHO). IDAHO was launched in 2005 to commemorate the World Health Organisation decision to remove homosexuality from the list of mental disorders.

Recognising Hate Crimes by South Yorkshire Police

  • Presentation by Andrew Rosbottom-Wilde (District Training Officer SYP) around recognising hate crime and their work with Stop Hate UK

Sexual Health for LGBT Groups by Eleanor Formby

  • Talk by Eleanor Formby from Sheffield Hallam University (Researcher into LGBT equality, inclusion and health and well-being) "Sexual Health: Views from lesbian, gay and bisexual people" based on two local research projects.
