I organised a very successful one-day colloquium in June 2009 within the Department of History at Sheffield which showcased the range of research taking place by both staff and post-graduates.
Alongside Laura King and Wilfred Rhoden, I have founded the Modern European History Group which began its interdisciplinary programme of papers and discussions in October 2009. We welcome papers and ideas from internal and external post-graduates and academics alike.
